2025 Public Hearing draft Available for review​

Jamestown has spent the past two years updating its 2015 Community Comprehensive Plan (sometimes known as a Comprehensive Plan or a "Comp Plan") to reflect evolving community needs and priorities. In accordance with state requirements, Comprehensive Plans must be updated every 10 years to ensure they remain relevant and responsive to changing conditions, while a full rewrite is mandated every 20 years to align long-term vision with the latest developments and trends. This update has built on the foundation of the 2015 Plan, incorporating new data and community input to guide Jamestown's growth and sustainability over the next decade.

This process was headed up by the Town of Jamestown's Planning Department and guided by the Commission. In the planning process, the planning team looked at historic trends, new data, and projections for the future. The planning team gathered public input through a variety of methods, including public workshops and focused discussions with stakeholders around the Town.

Linked below is the Public Hearing Draft of the document that will be discussed at the Jamestown Planning Commission and Town Council Workshop and considered at the subsequent Public Hearing at the end of January!
